Nursing Home Visiting Restrictions

As of the afternoon of 6 March 2020,
VISITING RESTRICTIONS HAVE been announced for nursing homes nationwide with no non-essential visiting, children or groups allowed, Nursing Homes Ireland has said.

All visitors are asked to contact prior to attending.  Visitors should only seek to attend in urgent circumstances and the management reserve the right to impose full restrictions where necessary.

Also be advised various hospitals are announcing visiting restrictions.

These include UH Limerick group – University Hospital Limerick, University Maternity Hospital Limerick, St John’s Hospital, Nenagh Hospital, Ennis Hospital, and Croom Orthopaedic Hospital.

They have also announced a helpline for UHL
A new helpline 1890 300046 has been launched this Friday afternoon to provide information and support to the public in Limerick, Clare and North Tipperary who are considered a casual contact or close contact of confirmed cases in the Mid-West.
