CAO FINAL CHANGE of MIND Considerations
Final CAO Considerations Deadline is next Wednesday 1st July 5:15pm
It is now time to consider final changes to course choices before 1st July
After Wednesday, you have no option to change anything about your CAO choices
Don’t forget to list your course choices in genuine order of preference.
Change of Mind – 5th May (12:00 noon) to 1st July (17:15)
From the beginning of May applicants could register an online change of course choices, free of charge. If you change online an acknowledgement will be sent to the e-mail address you used at the application stage.
There is no fee for using the Change of Mind facility.
You have 10 choices at each of level 8, 7, 6.
HPAT Results were released last Friday. This is about 2 weeks earlier than normal. If you sat them you should have been contacted by email.
This year nobody knows what will happen regarding points.
Points are determined by demand for places and this year is unique.

Qualifax is Ireland’s National Learners’ Database and is the “one stop shop” for learners and the public
Go to Qualifax for every detail of every course program.
Colleges may have introduced new programs, changed programs etc, these amendments should appear on the Qualifax site within 24hours.
Careers Portal

Colleges are currently offering virtual open days and undergrad live Q&A events, details of which are available through their own sites or from the Careers Portal site
School Guidance Counselor
If you can, talk to your school guidance counselor before Wednesday for assistance.
UCAS for UK Courses
Many Guidance counselors use the paid for site https://www.myfuturechoice.com/ which offers https://www.myfuturechoice.com/myunichoices/
MyUniChoices is an app that helps students make the right decision about higher education. It accesses the full UCAS database for the UK to provide instant feedback on which courses would suit them best.
EUNiCAS
EUNiCAS is the European Universities Central Application Support Service.
